The Board of the Northern Michigan Public Service Academy (NMPSA) seeks a proven self-starter for its part-time (10-20 hours a week) Coordinator position. NMPSA is a non-profit organization of local governments whose purpose is to provide low cost, high quality training for its members in the Upper Peninsula. Candidates need a high school diploma with college level business coursework preferred and at least two years' experience in an administrative capacity, the ability to work with multiple jurisdictions, proficiency in Excel and Word and the ability to work a flexible schedule. A background in training, administration and/or municipal government is preferred. Applications will be accepted by the City of Marquette through 5:00 p.m. on January 23, 2015.
This position is the sole employee of NMPSA and offers a starting salary of $10.00 an hour.
